Property Management Done Differently

Property management’s overall reputation within the real estate industry is not great. During 2016-2017 Consumer Affairs Victoria inspected 650 Victorian estate agency businesses, where one of the most common breaches included property management issues.

Property management is seen to have a culture of reactiveness; poor communication; sub-standard advertising for rental properties; inexperienced staff; dishonest staff; irregular inspections; discrepancies with rental payments; and charging additional fees.

With such a poor reputation, an inherent problem exists:

investors and tenants simply do not know what to expect from a property manager.

Given the most recent Consumer Affairs report into the estate agency industry highlighted property management issues amongst the most common breaches: this is a problem that requires a solution. Now.

Judge Realty’s vision is to reinvent property management, where they are the hub of a community, uniting residents, businesses, schools and charities.

Judge Realty’s mission is to build and strengthen community engagement and interactions, by encouraging Landlords and Tenants to support local trades, businesses and charities to create an inclusive, diverse and safe community.

As a new comer to the market, Judge Realty’s value proposition is simple: transparent communication to share knowledge and skills with owners and tenants. Ingenious really, as this value proposition has attributes which are emotional and built on the desire for something different, they seek to shake things up in property management. Look out Melbourne’s Inner West, exciting times ahead.
